FAQ

What types of organizations do you work with?

We primarily serve Oakland-based public agencies and nonprofit organizations. Organizations serving other residents in other parts of the East Bay may also be a good fit. Some of our past partnerships include: Oakland’s Public Ethics Commission, Oakland Public Works / Department of Transportation, Oakland Tech Exchange, and La Escuelita Elementary School.

How long do engagements typically last?

Most projects are completed within 3-6 months, though timing varies based on scope and complexity. We may suggest breaking down a problem into small pieces and follow-up engagements rather than having one long running project.

What does it cost?

Our services are provided for free by skilled volunteers. We ask only for your time and commitment to the project’s success.
